Description

  • 8 ounces lump crab meat
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 whole lemon, juiced


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, 0.5 teaspoon salt, and garlic powder.
  3. Cut in the cold cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped parsley just until combined.
  5. Divide the dough into equal portions and gently flatten each portion.
  6. Place about 1 tablespoon of lump crab meat in the center of each portion.
  7. Fold and seal the dough around the crab filling to form a ball and place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.

  9. In a small saucepan, melt 0.25 cup unsalted butter and stir in the lemon juice along with the remaining 0.5 teaspoon salt.
  10. Brush or drizzle the warm lemon butter sauce over the freshly baked biscuits and serve immediately.
