Description

A smooth and creamy toasted sesame dip made with tahini, Greek yogurt, fresh lemon juice, and a hint of garlic. Nutty, bright, and perfectly balanced, this dip pairs beautifully with vegetables, bread, or grain bowls.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, finely sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add tahini and plain Greek yogurt.
  2. Whisk together until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Add toasted sesame oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, honey, and soy sauce.
  4. Whisk again until the mixture becomes creamy and well blended.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper, stirring to incorporate evenly.
  6. Let the dip rest for 10 to 15 minutes to allow flavors to develop.
  7. Transfer to a serving bowl and smooth the surface with the back of a spoon.
  8. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top.
  9. Drizzle lightly with additional sesame oil if desired.
  10. Serve with fresh vegetables, crackers, or warm bread.

Notes

  • Whisk thoroughly to prevent tahini from separating.
  • Add a small splash of water if a thinner consistency is desired.
  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the brightest flavor.
