Description

A cozy Teddy Graham Latte made with rich espresso, warm brown sugar cinnamon syrup, creamy milk, and topped with whipped cream and crushed teddy grahams for a nostalgic cookie inspired treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup teddy graham cookies, crushed

Instructions

  1. Warm a mug with hot water, then discard the water.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons water. Heat gently over low heat until fully dissolved into a smooth syrup.
  3. Brew 1 cup espresso or strong coffee and pour into the warmed mug.
  4. Stir the prepared syrup into the coffee until well combined.
  5. Heat whole milk in a saucepan until steaming but not boiling, then froth using a milk frother or whisk.
  6. Pour the steamed milk over the coffee mixture.
  7. Whip heavy cream lightly until soft peaks form and spoon over the top of the latte.
  8. Sprinkle crushed teddy graham cookies over the whipped cream and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less syrup to taste.
  • Do not boil the milk to maintain smooth flavor.
  • For an iced version, cool the syrup completely and pour over ice with cold milk.
  • Extra syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
