Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, vanilla extract, and pink food coloring, mixing until smooth and evenly colored.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Scoop dough into even balls and place on prepared baking sheets, spacing evenly. Gently flatten each dough ball slightly.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool completely on a cooling rack.
- For the frosting, beat cream cheese until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and milk until creamy and spreadable.
- Pipe or spread frosting in a swirl on each cooled cookie before serving.
