- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini M&M’s
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together oats, flour, and baking soda.
- In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the mini M&M’s and chocolate chips.
- Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the edges are golden and the center is just set.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use parchment paper for easy removal and cleaner edges.
- Cool bars fully to avoid crumbling when slicing.
- Feel free to switch M&M’s with chopped nuts or butterscotch chips for a twist.
