- 20 ounces cheese tortellini, cooked according to package directions
- 6 ounces sliced salami, cut into strips
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, cubed
- 1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 3/4 cup Italian dressing
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the cheese tortellini according to package directions until tender. Drain well and let cool slightly.
- Transfer the cooked tortellini to a large mixing bowl.
- Add the sliced salami, cubed fresh mozzarella, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced black olives, and chopped parsley.
- Pour in the Italian dressing and olive oil.
- Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- Toss gently until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Stir gently before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
Notes
- Do not overcook the tortellini to prevent a mushy texture.
- If the salad seems dry after chilling, add a small splash of extra dressing.
- This salad can be made up to one day in advance for deeper flavor.
