- 1 large egg
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3/4 cup buffalo sauce, about 180 milliliters
- 1/4 cup honey, about 60 milliliters
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, about 15 milliliters
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped, about 8 grams
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into 24 evenly sized meatballs and place them in a single layer on the prepared baking tray.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 75 degrees Celsius.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine buffalo sauce, honey, and olive oil. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Transfer the baked meatballs to a large bowl and pour the warm sauce over them. Toss gently until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep the meatballs tender.
- Warm the sauce gently to prevent separation.
- Use a thermometer to ensure the meatballs reach 75 degrees Celsius.
- For extra caramelization, broil for 1 to 2 minutes after coating with sauce.
