Description

These Honey Buffalo Meatballs are tender, juicy, and coated in a glossy sweet and spicy sauce. Perfect as a party appetizer or game day snack, they deliver bold flavor with a sticky honey buffalo glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 900 grams ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs, about 100 grams
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce, about 180 milliliters
  • 1/4 cup honey, about 60 milliliters
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, about 15 milliliters
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped, about 8 grams

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 24 evenly sized meatballs and place them in a single layer on the prepared baking tray.
  4. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 75 degrees Celsius.
  5. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine buffalo sauce, honey, and olive oil. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
  6. Transfer the baked meatballs to a large bowl and pour the warm sauce over them. Toss gently until evenly coated.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep the meatballs tender.
  • Warm the sauce gently to prevent separation.
  • Use a thermometer to ensure the meatballs reach 75 degrees Celsius.
  • For extra caramelization, broil for 1 to 2 minutes after coating with sauce.
