Description
Fast and easy – these French Dip Tortilla Roll Ups have all the flavors of a French Dip Sandwich, but rolled into a tortilla! Perfect for weeknight dinners, parties, or quick lunches with a rich au jus dipping sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 12-inch flour tortillas
- 4 slices Provolone cheese (about 5 ounces)
- 1/2 lb deli sliced roast beef
- 3/4 cup French fried onions
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 can (10.5 oz) beef consomme
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425ºF.
- Lay the tortillas flat on a clean work surface. Tear the provolone slices into smaller pieces and spread evenly on each tortilla.
- Layer the deli roast beef evenly on top of the cheese, then sprinkle with French fried onions.
- Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly. Brush a bit of olive oil on the edge to help seal, and place seam side down on a baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the roll ups with remaining olive oil.
- Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- While baking, combine beef consommé, water, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder in a saucepan. Heat on medium until warmed through.
- Cut roll ups in half and serve with the hot dipping sauce.
Notes
- Store au jus separately to prevent soggy leftovers.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated unbaked for 24 hours.
- Freeze par-baked roll ups for up to 2 months.
- Reheat in oven or air fryer for best crispiness.
