- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Chill a large serving bowl in the refrigerator for a few minutes to keep the salad crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Add the chopped romaine lettuce to the chilled large bowl.

- Pour the dressing over the salad just before serving.
