- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard to the saucepan. Stir until well combined.
- Whisk in smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before serving or storing.
Notes
- Simmer uncovered for a thicker sauce consistency.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
