Ingredients
Scale
- 8 small flour tortillas (about 6 inches each)
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (about 250 grams)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 120 grams)
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened (about 113 grams)
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Olive oil spray, for coating
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, taco seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until fully combined and creamy.
- Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface.
- Spoon about 1/4 cup of filling onto one half of each tortilla. Fold over to form a half moon shape and press the edges together. Crimp with a fork to seal tightly.
- Lightly spray both sides with olive oil spray.
- Place the crispanadas in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Do not overfill the tortillas to prevent bursting during cooking.
- Seal the edges firmly to keep the filling inside.
- Cook in batches to ensure even crisping.
- Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 4 minutes.
