Description

A creamy and flavorful white garlic pizza sauce that makes the perfect base for your pizzas.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and whole milk, stirring to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using), stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before spreading on pizza dough.
  7. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it out with a little more milk.
  • This sauce pairs wonderfully with a variety of pizza toppings, especially chicken or vegetables.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
