Description

A satisfying turkey BLT sandwich layered with toasted butter bread, savory turkey, crispy bacon, fresh tomato, arugula, and a creamy garlic basil spread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices butter bread, lightly toasted
  • 2 thick slices turkey deli meat
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 1 to 2 thin slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 thin tomato slices
  • 1 handful baby arugula
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon finely chopped basil


Instructions

  1. Lightly toast the butter bread slices until just golden.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, minced garlic, and chopped basil until smooth.
  3. Lay the toasted bread slices on a clean surface.
  4. Spread the garlic basil mayonnaise evenly on both slices of bread.
  5. Layer the turkey deli meat on one slice of bread.
  6. Add the cheddar cheese slices over the turkey.
  7. Top with crispy bacon slices, tomato slices, and baby arugula.
  8. Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread.
  9. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Pat tomato slices dry to prevent soggy bread.
