Description
Creamy no bake chocolate truffles inspired by classic tiramisu, rich, smooth, and coated in dark and white chocolate for an elegant bite sized dessert.
Ingredients
- Mascarpone cheese, 250 g
- Plain sweet biscuits, 200 g
- Powdered sugar, 60 g
- Strong brewed coffee, 3 tbsp
- Cocoa powder, 3 tbsp
- Dark chocolate, 200 g
- White chocolate, 150 g
Instructions
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, brewed coffee, and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder until smooth.
- Add the crushed biscuits and mix until fully combined.
- Scoop the mixture and roll into bite sized balls.
- Place the truffles on the prepared tray and chill for 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the dark chocolate and white chocolate separately until smooth.
- Dip half of the truffles into dark chocolate and the remaining half into white chocolate.
- Return coated truffles to the tray.
- Dust with remaining cocoa powder or drizzle with white chocolate if desired.
- Chill again until the coating is fully set before serving.
Notes
- Chill the mixture well before rolling for easier shaping.
- Use slightly damp hands to prevent sticking.
- Store truffles chilled for best texture.
