Description

Creamy no bake chocolate truffles inspired by classic tiramisu, rich, smooth, and coated in dark and white chocolate for an elegant bite sized dessert.


Ingredients

  • Mascarpone cheese, 250 g
  • Plain sweet biscuits, 200 g
  • Powdered sugar, 60 g
  • Strong brewed coffee, 3 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder, 3 tbsp
  • Dark chocolate, 200 g
  • White chocolate, 150 g


Instructions

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, brewed coffee, and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder until smooth.
  3. Add the crushed biscuits and mix until fully combined.
  4. Scoop the mixture and roll into bite sized balls.
  5. Place the truffles on the prepared tray and chill for 30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the dark chocolate and white chocolate separately until smooth.
  7. Dip half of the truffles into dark chocolate and the remaining half into white chocolate.
  8. Return coated truffles to the tray.
  9. Dust with remaining cocoa powder or drizzle with white chocolate if desired.
  10. Chill again until the coating is fully set before serving.

Notes

  • Chill the mixture well before rolling for easier shaping.
  • Use slightly damp hands to prevent sticking.
  • Store truffles chilled for best texture.
