Description

A delicious fusion of two classic desserts – tiramisu and cheesecake – layered together for a creamy, coffee-flavored treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup espresso or strong brewed coffee for soaking
  • Ladyfinger cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract, mascarpone cheese, and heavy cream until combined.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggles when shaken.
  6. Let the cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Soak the ladyfingers in the coffee (and liqueur, if using) for about 10 seconds. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers on top of the chilled cheesecake.
  8. Dust with cocoa powder and refrigerate again for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For a more intense coffee flavor, use stronger brewed coffee.
  • Optional: Add a layer of whipped cream on top for extra creaminess.
