Description
A delicious fusion of two classic desserts – tiramisu and cheesecake – layered together for a creamy, coffee-flavored treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup espresso or strong brewed coffee for soaking
- Ladyfinger cookies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract, mascarpone cheese, and heavy cream until combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggles when shaken.
- Let the cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Soak the ladyfingers in the coffee (and liqueur, if using) for about 10 seconds. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers on top of the chilled cheesecake.
- Dust with cocoa powder and refrigerate again for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- For a more intense coffee flavor, use stronger brewed coffee.
- Optional: Add a layer of whipped cream on top for extra creaminess.
