- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 medium chicken breast pieces, about 1 pound or 450 grams
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3/4 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 4 tostada shells
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 small flour tortillas or tortilla cutouts
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Rub the chicken breast with olive oil, taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it into thin strips.
- Lay a large tortilla flat and add sliced chicken in the center.
- Spoon nacho cheese sauce over the chicken, then place a tostada shell on top.
- Add sour cream, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place a small flour tortilla or tortilla cutout over the center if needed.
- Fold the edges of the large tortilla inward to form a sealed wrap.
- Place seam side down in the skillet and cook until golden and crisp.
- Flip and toast the second side until equally crisp.
- Slice in half and serve warm.
Notes
- Warm the tortillas slightly before folding so they do not crack
- Do not overfill the wraps or they may open while cooking
- Toast seam side down first to help seal the wrap
- Serve immediately for the best crunch
