Description

Golden toasted crunch wraps filled with seasoned sliced chicken, nacho cheese sauce, fresh toppings, and a crispy tostada shell for that irresistible layered bite.


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 medium chicken breast pieces, about 1 pound or 450 grams
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 4 tostada shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 small flour tortillas or tortilla cutouts


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Rub the chicken breast with olive oil, taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cook the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden.
  4. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it into thin strips.
  5. Lay a large tortilla flat and add sliced chicken in the center.
  6. Spoon nacho cheese sauce over the chicken, then place a tostada shell on top.
  7. Add sour cream, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Place a small flour tortilla or tortilla cutout over the center if needed.
  9. Fold the edges of the large tortilla inward to form a sealed wrap.
  10. Place seam side down in the skillet and cook until golden and crisp.
  11. Flip and toast the second side until equally crisp.
  12. Slice in half and serve warm.

Notes

  • Warm the tortillas slightly before folding so they do not crack
  • Do not overfill the wraps or they may open while cooking
  • Toast seam side down first to help seal the wrap
  • Serve immediately for the best crunch
