- 500 grams boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 12 slices sandwich bread
- 8 bacon strips
- 4 cheddar cheese slices
- 4 large fresh lettuce leaves
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise, about 120 grams
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, about 15 milliliters
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
- Cook the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked, then remove and let rest before slicing.
- In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crisp, then transfer to a rack or paper towel to drain.
- Toast the sandwich bread slices until golden and slightly crisp.
- Spread mayonnaise evenly on each slice of toasted bread.
- Layer sliced chicken, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato between three slices of bread to form each club sandwich.
- Cut each sandwich into halves or quarters and serve immediately.
