This viral TikTok Sushi Bake combines creamy imitation crab, cream cheese, and sriracha-spiced mayo layered over seasoned sushi rice. Topped with furikake, green onions, and served with nori, it’s an easy, flavorful take on sushi rolls in casserole form.

- 1 lb imitation crab, flaked
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Kewpie mayo, plus extra for topping
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha, plus extra for topping
- 4 cups cooked sushi rice
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons furikake seasoning, divided
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Nori sheets, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease an 8×8 or 9×13 baking dish.
- Mix flaked imitation crab with softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup Kewpie mayo, and 2 tablespoons sriracha until creamy.
- Combine cooked sushi rice with rice vinegar and 1 tablespoon furikake; mix gently.
- Spread rice evenly in the baking dish and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon furikake.
- Top rice with the crab mixture and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining furikake over the top.
- Drizzle extra Kewpie mayo and sriracha on top for garnish.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until heated through; optionally broil for 2–3 minutes to brown slightly.
- Remove from oven and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve with nori sheets for scooping.
Notes
- Use softened cream cheese for a smooth mixture.
- Do not overmix the rice to maintain its fluffy texture.
- Add garnishes just before serving to keep them fresh.
