Description

A fresh twist on the classic Caesar salad, these smoky salmon lettuce wraps are light and flavorful, featuring smoked salmon, crunchy romaine lettuce, and a creamy Caesar dressing.


Ingredients

  • 200g smoked salmon, sliced
  • 810 large romaine lettuce leaves, washed and dried
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup croutons, crushed
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Lay the romaine lettuce leaves flat on a clean surface, creating individual wraps.
  2. Drizzle a small amount of Caesar dressing on each lettuce leaf, spreading it evenly.
  3. Place a few slices of smoked salmon on top of the lettuce, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and crushed croutons.
  4. Drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil, then season with freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Carefully wrap the lettuce around the filling to form a wrap. Repeat for each lettuce leaf.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can add a few capers or a small drizzle of balsamic glaze.
