Description

Smoky, cheesy, and saucy smoked BBQ chicken sliders made with tender shredded chicken, tangy BBQ sauce, and buttery garlic parmesan buns. The ultimate easy comfort food for parties or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns, connected
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until evenly coated.
  3. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping tops and bottoms connected. Place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
  4. Spread the BBQ chicken mixture evenly over the buns. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top, then place the top half of the buns over the filling.
  5. Combine melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Brush the mixture over the top of the buns. Sprinkle with grated parmesan.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

  • Use leftover or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Brush buns generously with garlic butter for best flavor.
  • Cover with foil first to prevent over-browning.
  • Serve with extra BBQ sauce or coleslaw on the side.
