- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts evenly with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Continue to simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Meanwhile, cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Slice the Cajun chicken into thin strips and add it to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Toss in the cooked linguine and stir to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Serve the pasta with the Cajun chicken on top and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.

- If you prefer a spicier dish, you can add more Cajun seasoning or red pepper flakes.
- For a lighter version, you can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or milk.
