Description

A cozy, café-style latte featuring bold espresso, nutty tahini, sweet honey, and a pinch of salt, topped with creamy milk foam and optionally finished with honeycomb and toasted sesame seeds.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso (about 2 ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • Optional: ice
  • Optional: small chunks of honeycomb
  • Optional: toasted sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  1. Brew two shots of espresso and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together tahini, honey, and salt until smooth. Warm slightly if needed for easier blending.
  3. In your serving glass, add the tahini mixture and pour the espresso over it. Stir to combine.
  4. Froth your milk using a frother or heat and whisk until creamy. Pour over the tahini-espresso mix.
  5. For an iced version, add ice before pouring the milk.
  6. Top with optional crumbled honeycomb and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use warm tahini to prevent clumping and create a smooth texture.
  • Barista-style oat milk or whole milk creates the creamiest foam.
