Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 2 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 Italian sausages, casings removed
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.

  5. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the potatoes, followed by the cooked sausage and Parmesan.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil if desired, slice, and serve.
