Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to desired thickness and transfer to a baking sheet or pizza peel if using a stone.
- Spread pesto evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Arrange thin potato slices in a single layer over the pesto. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the potatoes, followed by the cooked sausage and Parmesan.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil if desired, slice, and serve.
