Description

Pan Fried Tajin Chicken features tender chicken breasts seasoned with the bold and zesty flavors of Tajín seasoning, cooked to perfection in a skillet for a quick and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Tajín seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the Tajín seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub the spice mixture evenly on both sides of each chicken breast.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 75°C/165°F).
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Drizzle the lime juice over the chicken, then slice it into strips or serve whole.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Serve with rice, salad, or tortillas for a complete meal.
  • For extra spice, sprinkle additional Tajín seasoning on top before serving.
  • If you prefer, you can marinate the chicken in the spice mixture for 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.
