- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Tajín seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the Tajín seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub the spice mixture evenly on both sides of each chicken breast.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 75°C/165°F).
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Drizzle the lime juice over the chicken, then slice it into strips or serve whole.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
- Serve with rice, salad, or tortillas for a complete meal.
- For extra spice, sprinkle additional Tajín seasoning on top before serving.
- If you prefer, you can marinate the chicken in the spice mixture for 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.
