  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Salt

  • Optional: 4 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped (for ganache)
  • Optional: Chopped Oreos or Mini Peanut Butter Cups for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Make the Crust: Mix Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 8–10 minutes or chill for no-bake option.
  3. Prepare the Filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, and peanut butter until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Pour filling over the crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Bake for 50–60 minutes until center is just set. Cool gradually, then refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Finishing Touches: (Optional) Heat cream and stir in chopped chocolate for ganache. Spread over chilled cheesecake.
