Description

Juicy, saucy mini meatball subs baked with marinara and melted mozzarella on soft slider buns. Perfect for parties, family dinners, or game day gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 small slider buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Shape mixture into small meatballs and brown on all sides for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Slice slider buns in half. Place browned meatballs inside each bun, spoon marinara sauce over them, and top with shredded mozzarella.
  5. Arrange assembled sliders in a baking dish and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Sprinkle with additional parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Lightly toast the buns before assembling to prevent sogginess.
  • Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep meatballs tender.
  • You can prepare the meatballs a day in advance and refrigerate until ready to assemble.
