- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 12 small slider buns
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Shape mixture into small meatballs and brown on all sides for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Slice slider buns in half. Place browned meatballs inside each bun, spoon marinara sauce over them, and top with shredded mozzarella.
- Arrange assembled sliders in a baking dish and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with additional parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- Lightly toast the buns before assembling to prevent sogginess.
- Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep meatballs tender.
- You can prepare the meatballs a day in advance and refrigerate until ready to assemble.
