Description

A hearty crustless pizza made with seasoned ground meat, baked until golden, then topped with pizza sauce, melted mozzarella, and your favorite toppings for a protein packed twist on classic pizza night.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground meat (450 grams)
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (2 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (3 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (3 grams)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1 gram)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (3 grams)
  • ⅓ cup shredded parmesan cheese (30 grams)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (120 milliliters)
  • 2 cups fat free mozzarella (200 grams)
  • 1 cup favorite pizza toppings such as sliced bell peppers, mushrooms, and olives

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, lightly beaten egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and shredded parmesan cheese. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Press the meat mixture evenly into a round crust shape about ½ inch thick on the prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until browned and fully cooked. Carefully drain any excess grease if needed.
  5. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the cooked crust.
  6. Sprinkle fat free mozzarella evenly on top, followed by your favorite pizza toppings.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  9. Slice into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

  • Press the crust evenly to prevent thin spots.
  • Drain excess grease after the first bake for a firmer base.
  • Avoid overly watery toppings to keep the crust from softening.
