- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped fresh dill, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth and evenly mixed.
- Spread shredded mozzarella cheese evenly into a rectangle shape on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the mozzarella is fully melted and lightly golden around the edges.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is pliable but still warm.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the melted mozzarella layer.
- Arrange sliced pastrami evenly on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Carefully roll the cheese layer tightly into a log while still flexible.
- Allow the roll to cool completely so it firms up.
- Slice into 8 even roll ups and serve chilled or at room temperature.
