Description

Savory and creamy low carb pastrami cream cheese roll ups made with a golden mozzarella wrap, smooth herb cream cheese filling, and smoky pastrami, perfect as a keto friendly snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces sliced pastrami
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped fresh dill, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth and evenly mixed.
  3. Spread shredded mozzarella cheese evenly into a rectangle shape on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the mozzarella is fully melted and lightly golden around the edges.
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is pliable but still warm.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the melted mozzarella layer.
  7. Arrange sliced pastrami evenly on top of the cream cheese layer.
  8. Carefully roll the cheese layer tightly into a log while still flexible.
  9. Allow the roll to cool completely so it firms up.
  10. Slice into 8 even roll ups and serve chilled or at room temperature.
