- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
- Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets and rub it evenly on both sides.
- Season with salt, cracked black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Top each salmon fillet with lemon slices and sprinkle with lemon zest.
- Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve hot with your choice of side dish.
