Description

A simple and flavorful salmon dish seasoned with fresh lemon and cracked black pepper, perfect for a healthy meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets and rub it evenly on both sides.
  4. Season with salt, cracked black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Top each salmon fillet with lemon slices and sprinkle with lemon zest.
  6. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
