Description

This light and creamy Keto Key Lime Mousse is a sugar-free, low-carb dessert bursting with fresh lime flavor and whipped to perfection. Made with just five ingredients, it’s a refreshing treat that’s as easy as it is delicious.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon powdered whole leaf stevia
  • 16 drops lime essential oil
  • 6 egg whites, room temperature
  • Zest of 1 lime


Instructions

  1. Chill a mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 10 minutes. Allow egg whites to come to room temperature.
  2. In the chilled bowl, whip heavy cream with stevia until soft peaks form. Add lime essential oil and gently mix.
  3. In a separate clean, dry bowl, whip egg whites to stiff peaks.
  4. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the whipped lime cream using a spatula in batches, keeping the mixture airy.
  5. Spoon mousse into serving cups and top with lime zest.
  6. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best texture and flavor.
