Our Jerk Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo blends creamy Italian Alfredo sauce with bold Jamaican jerk-seasoned shrimp for a spicy, savory fusion pasta that’s ready in under 35 minutes.

- 20 shrimp, shells removed and deveined
- 2 teaspoons jerk marinade
- 2 teaspoons salted butter
- 8 oz fettuccine or other long pasta noodle
- 2 teaspoons jerk marinade
- 8 oz butter, cubed
- 8 oz Parmesan, plus additional for serving
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced for serving
Instructions
- Toss shrimp with 2 teaspoons jerk marinade in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Use 1 tablespoon of salt for every 4 cups of water. Cook pasta until very al dente (about 2 minutes less than package instructions).
- Heat 2 teaspoons of butter in a sauté pan over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 4-5 minutes, turning once, until bright orange and lightly caramelized. Transfer shrimp to a bowl and set aside.
- Return the pan to low heat without cleaning. Remove 1 1/2 cups of pasta water and set aside. Add remaining 2 teaspoons jerk marinade, 1/4 cup of pasta water, and 8 oz cubed butter. Stir to emulsify.
- Add fettuccine to the sauce and toss to coat. Add pasta water 2 tablespoons at a time as needed to maintain creaminess.
- Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce. Continue adjusting with pasta water for desired consistency.
- Return shrimp to the pan and toss with pasta. Garnish with sliced green onions and additional Parmesan. Serve immediately.
