- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions and pour it into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Mix in the sour cream and flour until well combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter and gently swirl with a spatula to create a marbled effect.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
- Serve chilled for a richer flavor.
