Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring juicy shrimp stir-fried with crisp vegetables and coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. Ready in under 30 minutes, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1.5 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  3. Add oil to the hot pan and sear shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. Stir-fry broccoli and red bell pepper in the same pan for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. Return shrimp to the pan and pour in the sauce. Stir until everything is coated and the sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use high heat to get a good sear on the shrimp.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan — cook in batches if needed.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy version.
  • Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
