- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ cup plain breadcrumbs (for mixture)
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- ¼ cup oat flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon ground paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs (for breading)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your air fryer.
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, milk, ¼ cup breadcrumbs, egg, oat flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
- Shape the mixture into nugget-sized pieces using damp hands or a cookie scoop.
- Roll each nugget in the remaining breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to coat.
- Place nuggets on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in an air fryer basket. Lightly spray or brush with oil if baking.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through. In an air fryer, cook 12–15 minutes, flipping once.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

- Chill formed nuggets before breading to help them hold their shape.
- Use panko breadcrumbs for an extra crispy coating.
