Garlic butter steak bites served alongside a smoky, creamy chipotle cream cheese pasta—an irresistible combination of savory flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites:
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (optional)
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Smoky Chipotle Cream Cheese Pasta:
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp chipotle in adobo sauce, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the steak cubes and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the butter, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Return the steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. For the Smoky Chipotle Cream Cheese Pasta: Cook the pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  6. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the softened cream cheese and stir until smooth.
  7. Stir in the milk, chipotle in adobo, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and Parmesan cheese. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce is creamy and heated through.
  8. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve the steak bites alongside the creamy chipotle pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more chipotle in adobo or some crushed red pepper flakes to the pasta sauce.
  • You can substitute the steak with chicken or shrimp if desired.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, reduce the amount of milk or add more cream cheese.
