- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 Large Eggs
- 0.25 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: milk and eggs.
- Slowly stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until the mixture is smooth and pourable.
- Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan, filling about 2 inches of oil. Heat on medium until hot (about 2–4 minutes).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
- Fry each side of the funnel cake bites until golden brown (60–90 seconds per side).
- Remove from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Dust immediately with powdered sugar and serve warm.
- Repeat with remaining batter until all Funnel Cake Bites are cooked.
