Description

French Onion Butter Rice is a rich, buttery, and savory side dish inspired by the flavors of classic French onion soup. This easy-to-make recipe requires minimal prep and transforms simple pantry ingredients into a comforting and delicious addition to any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup Long Grain Rice (uncooked)
  • 14.5 oz can of Beef Broth
  • 10.5 oz can of French Onion Soup
  • 1 stick of Butter (cold)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In an 8×8 inch baking dish, spread the uncooked rice evenly.
  3. Pour the beef broth over the rice.
  4. Add the French onion soup on top of the rice and broth mixture.
  5. Slice the cold butter into pats and distribute them evenly over the dish.
  6. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 25 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
