Description

Fluffy Brioche Donuts with creamy chocolate filling, sugar-coated and topped with fresh strawberries, perfect for a decadent breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • Brioche dough: 2 ½ cups, enriched with eggs and butter
  • Sugar: ½ cup, for coating
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Butter: ½ cup, melted
  • Milk: ½ cup, warm
  • Yeast: 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • Salt: ¼ teaspoon
  • Chocolate ganache: 1 cup
  • Fresh strawberries: 6, halved for garnish


Instructions

  1. Warm milk and mix with yeast to activate.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, eggs, butter, milk, yeast, and salt to form a soft dough.
  3. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Shape dough into small balls and allow to rest briefly.
  5. Heat oil to 350°F and fry dough balls until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Roll fried donuts in sugar while still warm.
  7. Fill donuts with chocolate ganache using a piping bag.
  8. Top each donut with a halved fresh strawberry and serve immediately.
