Description

Festive no bake Christmas tree treats made with chewy SunButter oat filling and coated in smooth matcha vegan white chocolate for a gorgeous holiday green. Fun to shape, easy to decorate, and perfect for gifting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ¾ cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup SunButter Organic Sunflower Seed Butter
  • ½ cup agave nectar or maple syrup or honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla bean powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 16 oz vegan white chocolate, melted
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • ¼ cup vegan white chocolate, reserved for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, SunButter, agave or maple or honey, vanilla bean powder, and sea salt until fully mixed.
  3. Press portions of the mixture firmly into a Christmas tree cookie cutter, lifting the cutter carefully to retain the shape.
  4. Place shaped trees onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Melt vegan white chocolate using a microwave or double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  6. Add matcha powder to the melted chocolate, adjusting until desired green color is achieved.
  7. Dip or spoon the matcha white chocolate over each oat tree until coated. Chill for 10 minutes.
  8. Melt the reserved white chocolate and drizzle over the set trees for decoration.
  9. Chill again until fully firm, then enjoy or store refrigerated.

Notes

  • Warm the SunButter slightly for easier mixing.
  • Pack the mixture tightly into the cookie cutter for clean shapes.
  • Add matcha slowly to control the flavor and color.
  • Decorate with sprinkles before the chocolate sets for extra holiday flair.
