Description
Dollywood Cinnamon Bread is a sweet, buttery, pull-apart bread coated in cinnamon sugar and drizzled with icing, inspired by the famous treat from Dollywood theme park.

- 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together.
- On a floured surface, stretch and flatten the dough into a rectangle.
- Brush the dough generously with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the dough lengthwise into 4 strips, then crosswise into 4 strips, creating 16 pieces.
- Stack the dough pieces loosely and place them in the prepared loaf pan.
- Brush the top with additional melted butter and sprinkle with more cinnamon-sugar mixture if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the icing.
- Drizzle the icing over the warm bread before serving.
Notes
- Allow the bread to cool slightly before icing for a thicker glaze.
- You can add chopped nuts or raisins for extra texture.
- Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
