Description

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 24 milk chocolate kisses, unwrapped
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in vanilla extract and milk until combined.
- Gradually add all purpose flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and flatten slightly in your palm.
- Place one milk chocolate kiss in the center and wrap the dough completely around it, sealing well and rolling into a smooth ball.
- Place dough balls on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until set but still pale, do not allow to brown.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly, then roll generously in powdered sugar. Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes if it becomes too soft to handle.
- Seal the dough completely around the chocolate to prevent leaking.
- Roll twice in powdered sugar for an extra snowy finish.
