Description

Creamy, crispy, and slightly indulgent, this custard yogurt toast is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors, topped with juicy raspberries and rich dark chocolate chips.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
  • 2 thick slices of bread (brioche or similar)
  • Handful fresh raspberries
  • 10g dark chocolate chips
  • Optional: extra maple syrup for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt and maple syrup until smooth and creamy.
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  4. Place your bread slices on the tray and press down the center with the back of a spoon to create a shallow well.
  5. Spoon the yogurt mixture into the center of each slice and spread evenly.
  6. Top with raspberries and sprinkle the dark chocolate chips.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the toast edges are golden and the custard looks set.
  8. Let cool slightly, drizzle with optional maple syrup, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use thick bread like brioche or Texas toast for best results.
  • Try adding cinnamon or vanilla to the custard for extra flavor.
  • Reheat leftovers in a toaster oven for best texture.
