Description

A rich and creamy crockpot pasta dish made with ground beef, ranch seasoning, shell pasta, and two types of cheese for the ultimate comfort food meal. Perfect for busy weeknights or feeding a crowd.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 12 oz shell pasta (about 3 cups uncooked)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Set crockpot to low heat while you prepare ingredients.
  2. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Spray inside of crockpot with nonstick spray. Add beef mixture, ranch seasoning, heavy cream, and 1 cup cheddar. Stir well.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
  5. Meanwhile, cook shell pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
  6. Stir pasta into crockpot mixture. Sprinkle with mozzarella and remaining cheddar. Cover and cook 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted.
  7. Top with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
  • Stir occasionally during cooking to prevent sticking if you’re nearby.
