Description

Crispy lemon pepper chicken tenders with a golden crunchy coating and juicy interior, finished with fresh lemon zest and a bright citrus flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a pan.
  2. Mix flour with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Beat eggs in a separate bowl.
  4. Coat chicken tenders in flour, dip into eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with lemon zest.
