- 500 grams button mushrooms
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk eggs and milk in another bowl.
- Place breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
- Dip mushrooms in flour mixture, then egg mixture, then breadcrumbs.
- Fry mushrooms until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Keep mushrooms dry before coating
- Do not overcrowd the pan
- Use panko for extra crunch
