Description

Golden crispy fried mushrooms with a crunchy coating and juicy center, perfect as a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 grams button mushrooms
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • vegetable oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  2. Mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Whisk eggs and milk in another bowl.
  4. Place breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
  5. Dip mushrooms in flour mixture, then egg mixture, then breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry mushrooms until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Keep mushrooms dry before coating
  • Do not overcrowd the pan
  • Use panko for extra crunch
