- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
- 15 to 18 mini phyllo pastry shells
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, toss the chopped shrimp with Cajun seasoning, flour, salt, and melted butter until evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, and chopped parsley until smooth.
- Fold the seasoned shrimp into the cheese mixture and stir gently to combine.
- Arrange the mini phyllo pastry shells on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spoon the shrimp mixture evenly into each shell, filling just to the top.
- Sprinkle black sesame seeds lightly over each filled cup.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the filling is set and the tops are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
- Pat shrimp dry before mixing to prevent excess moisture.
- Do not overfill the shells to keep them crisp.
