- ¼ cup diced onion
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic with chili
- 2 jars marinara sauce (32 oz total)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 10 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella, cubed
- 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in marinara sauce and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Boil spaghetti until al dente, then drain and toss with the creamy sauce.
- Layer half the pasta into the baking dish. Add half the ricotta, mozzarella, and 2 tablespoons of Parmesan.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
