A comforting one-pan creamy chicken and rice dish made with tender chicken, fluffy rice, and a rich, velvety sauce.

- 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and diced
- 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add rice and stir to coat.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 15 to 18 minutes until rice is tender.
- Stir in cooked chicken and heavy cream.
- Cook for another 5 minutes until creamy.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use warm broth for even cooking.
- Do not overcook chicken.
- Add liquid when reheating.
