Description

A comforting one-pan creamy chicken and rice dish made with tender chicken, fluffy rice, and a rich, velvety sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and diced
  • 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add rice and stir to coat.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Cover and cook for 15 to 18 minutes until rice is tender.
  6. Stir in cooked chicken and heavy cream.
  7. Cook for another 5 minutes until creamy.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use warm broth for even cooking.
  • Do not overcook chicken.
  • Add liquid when reheating.
