This Clam Pizza is a coastal-inspired twist on classic pizza, loaded with briny chopped clams, melted mozzarella, garlic oil, and herbs atop a golden, chewy crust. Bold, savory, and surprisingly simple.

- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1 can (6.5 ounces) chopped clams, drained
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or sheet pan inside to heat.
- Sauté garlic in olive oil until golden, then set aside.
- Roll dough into a 12-inch circle and place on parchment paper.
- Brush garlic oil over the dough, then top with mozzarella cheese.
- Scatter chopped clams, Parmesan, oregano, and red pepper flakes on top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Drain clams well to avoid a soggy crust.
- Pre-bake thicker dough for 3–5 minutes if needed.
- Finish with lemon juice or chili oil for a flavor boost.
