- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 10 ounces mini marshmallows
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add 6 cups of the marshmallows (reserving some) and stir constantly until melted.
- Stir in chocolate chips, salt, and vanilla until smooth and well combined.
- Remove from heat and fold in the crispy rice cereal and remaining marshmallows.
- Press the mixture gently into the prepared pan using a buttered spatula or wax paper.
- Optional: Press a few extra marshmallows or chocolate chips on top while warm.
- Let cool completely, then cut into squares and serve.
